Dragons Blood V.2 Racked

6 GAL Carboy of Dragons Blood Mead

It was a happy day yesterday as Dragons Blood Mead that I started about a month ago was finally racked into its secondary fermentation vessel. The yeast appears to have possibly died out due to an overheating. I am watching the batch for a couple days to see if any of the yeast gets revived, but if it doesn’t I will pitch in some fresh yeast to make sure it ferments to a higher ABV. The current ABV is 9.71% and I would like to get it to at least 13%, but I don’t think I want it to exceed 15%.
