Rule of Haus Adelbrecht - Revised February 1, A.S. 42
1. Haus Adelbrecht shall have but one Lord and no Lady. The Haus Lord is Herr
Alexander Adelbrecht von Markelingen. Having Established Haus Adelbrecht, being its
namesake and having selected the originating members of Haus Adelbrecht. All
decisions about the operation of the Haus shall remain with him. The Lord Adelbrecht
shall choose all members of his house, he shall observe all candidates for membership
and he shall elevate all candidates to membership himself.
2. The use of the Haus Adelbrechts name in conjunction with any activity may only be
granted at the consent of the Lord Adelbrecht, Herr Alexander Adelbrecht von
Markelingen. Members of the Haus are free to participate in any activity they deem
fit, but may not associate the Haus name with said activity without the explicit consent
of the Lord.
3. Membership in Haus Adelbrecht is granted by the Lord Adelbrecht as a Lifetime
Membership, but should the Lord find cause to remove any member, he shall reserve
the right to terminate a membership at his will with or without the council of his
Membership.
4. There shall be no official Household Coffers or Financial Holdings of any kind.
Money is the root of all evil and dissension and has only harmed the household in the
past. All Members are left to finance there own participation in all activities. Should
the Household engage in any form of Fund raising activities, the full gains of the
activities shall be passed on to either an official Society group, or shall be delivered as
a donation to another organization or Charity. In the event that the household should
sponsor a party, the household may reimburse members for any purchased supplies,
foods or drinks, Alcoholic or non-Alcoholic. Any Additional Money must be passed on
to one of the afore mentioned organizations or official Society Group.
